AAP Alleges Dangerous Decline in Kejriwal's Health While in Custody

AAP accuses BJP of endangering Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's health by placing him in jail on a false charge. Kejriwal, a severe diabetic, has experienced significant weight loss and dangerous drops in blood sugar levels. His party is consulting legal and medical experts on the issue.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday alleged that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's health is in 'acute' danger while he remains in judicial custody.

During a press conference, Delhi cabinet minister Atishi stated that Kejriwal, a severe diabetic, has seen dangerously low sugar levels.

'The BJP has conspired to imprison Kejriwal in a fake case. His health is at significant risk; he has lost 8.5 kgs and his blood sugar levels have plummeted below 50 five times during sleep. This is particularly alarming for a diabetic,’ Atishi said.

'If Kejriwal suffers a stroke, brain damage, or any permanent damage, who will be responsible?' she added, highlighting that the AAP leader is unable to receive proper medical attention in jail.

When questioned about seeking legal recourse, the minister said they are consulting with both lawyers and doctors regarding the matter.

'The BJP should understand that if anything happens to Arvind Kejriwal, not only will the country hold them accountable, but divine retribution will also follow,' Atishi concluded.
