CM Dhami Hosts BJP Leaders Ahead of Key State Meetings

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami welcomed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary and Uttarakhand State Incharge Dushyant Kumar Gautam at his official residence today. This assembly took place ahead of the state working committee meeting scheduled for Monday in Dehradun.
State President Mahendra Bhatt, State General Secretary (Organisation) Ajaey Kumar, and other officials were also in attendance. Earlier in the day, CM Dhami engaged with the public at a Janta Darbar organized at the Mukhya Sewak Sadan at his residence.
On Saturday, CM Dhami presided over a meeting of the State Level Vigilance and Monitoring Committee, constituted under the Uttarakhand Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. This meeting, the first in 14 years, took place at the Chief Minister's residence. Dhami directed that such meetings should be held biannually and that chairpersons of the SC and ST Commission should be included as special members in future gatherings.
The Chief Minister stressed the need for timely resolution of pending cases under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, recommending regular advocacy in courts. Complaints should be acted upon immediately, with quick FIR registrations and speedy police investigations.
