UP BJP Gears Up for August-September Membership Drive

The Uttar Pradesh BJP will conduct a membership campaign in August-September, according to the party's state general secretary. The campaign was discussed alongside other upcoming programmes, with a focus on wining upcoming by-elections. Meetings at regional and district levels are planned to ensure readiness.

The Uttar Pradesh BJP will run a membership campaign in August-September, a party office-bearer confirmed on Monday.

UP BJP co-media in-charge Abhay Pratap Singh stated that state party general secretary (organization) Dharampal Singh outlined the campaign and other programmes during the UP BJP working committee meeting at the Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University in Lucknow on Sunday.

Dharampal Singh emphasized that the membership drive will occur in August-September, and added that regional working committee meetings will be completed by this month, with the working committee of fronts concluded by July 30 and district working committee meetings by July 25.

He noted that the 'Ek Ped Maa ke Naam' programme, which commenced on July 5 to commemorate World Environment Day, will continue until August 15.

Dharampal Singh also emphasized the importance of election preparation for the upcoming by-elections on ten assembly seats, urging party members to ensure victory by reaching the booth level.

He highlighted, ''The workers are the basic foundation of our ideology. There should be continuous and constant contact and dialogue with them.''
