Tragic Murder of VIP Chief's Father Shocks Bihar Community

Jitan Sahani, father of VIP chief Mukesh Sahani, was found murdered in Bihar's Darbhanga district. His body displayed multiple stab injuries. Police have initiated an investigation. Mukesh Sahani, a former Bihar minister, leads the Vikassheel Insaan Party, which is part of the INDIA bloc.

Jitan Sahani, the father of Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahani, was found murdered at his ancestral home in Bihar's Darbhanga district, police reported on Tuesday.

Sahani's body bore multiple stab injuries and cut marks on his chest and stomach. It was discovered inside his room in the Biraul area early this morning.

Darbhanga Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jagunath Reddy stated that a team of senior officers has arrived at the scene and is currently conducting a thorough investigation.

Mukesh Sahani, a former minister in the Bihar government, is the head of VIP and an alliance partner of the INDIA bloc.
