In the wake of the brutal killing of Jitan Sahani, the father of Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahani, a war of words has erupted between the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) allies and the ruling JDU-BJP combine in Bihar. RJD Spokesperson Shakti Singh Yadav accused Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's government of being in a state of limbo and questioned its awareness of the ongoing situation.

'What is going on in Bihar? No day goes by without a murder,' Yadav said, alleging that the Chief Minister is out of touch with reality. He claimed that the state system has collapsed, leaving Bihar 'at the mercy of gods.' Meanwhile, RJD leader Mrityunjay Tiwari criticized the BJP-JDU administration, describing the law and order situation as 'Jungle-Raaj' and demanding answers.

On the other hand, state government representatives have accused the opposition of politicizing the tragedy. JDU Leader Neeraj Kumar called the murder 'unfortunate, brutal, and painful,' and assured that the police are conducting a thorough investigation. He urged Tejashwi Yadav to cooperate if he had any information. Union ministers Ramnath Thakur and Giriraj Singh echoed these sentiments, promising that the guilty would be brought to justice.

The incident occurred late Monday night at Jitan Sahani's residence in Darbhanga. Local police, who have launched a detailed investigation, confirmed that senior officers are involved in the probe. Former Bihar government minister and VIP Party president Mukesh Sahani now awaits further developments, as the state grapples with rising political tensions.
