Oli, who was sworn in on Monday for his fourth term, acknowledged the nation's troubled current scenario during his address at an Engineer Day event.
The 72-year-old leader pointed out that while Nepal's history is worthy of praise, the present situation is lacking and requires urgent change. He emphasized the need for the government to address existing problems in various sectors to secure a prosperous future.
Oli will seek a vote of confidence from Parliament this Sunday.
