The INDIA bloc of opposition parties is gearing up for a rally on July 30 at Jantar Mantar, aiming to bring attention to the deteriorating health of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, currently in Tihar jail, according to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
Accusing the BJP of plotting to harm Kejriwal, the AAP revealed medical reports that indicate his sugar levels dropped 26 times between June 3 and July 7. As a member of the INDIA bloc, the party has consistently blamed the BJP-led central government and Lt Governor V K Saxena for endangering Kejriwal's life. "The INDIA bloc will stage a significant rally at Jantar Mantar on July 30 to bring his health issues to light," stated the AAP.
Kejriwal was arrested on March 21 by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) over a money laundering charge linked to an alleged excise policy scam and was later granted bail by the Supreme Court. Nevertheless, he remains in Tihar due to a related CBI case.
