Escalation of Israeli-Hezbollah Conflict: Three Hezbollah Members Killed
Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon killed three Hezbollah members, prompting Hezbollah to retaliate with rocket attacks on the Golan Heights, injuring several people. This exchange is part of ongoing conflict, which escalated following Hamas’ attacks on Israel, leading to significant casualties on both sides.
In a significant escalation, Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon have killed three Hezbollah members, as reported by the Lebanese militant group. In retaliation, Hezbollah launched a rocket attack on the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights, resulting in multiple casualties.
Initial reports from Israel's Magen David Adom paramedic service indicated 11 people were wounded in the rocket attack, with five in critical condition and six sustaining severe injuries. Hezbollah's statement confirmed the attack aimed at an Israeli army post was a direct response to earlier Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanese villages.
As the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah continues to intensify, the toll on both sides mount. Since the start of the Gaza war on October 7, prompted by a Hamas attack, Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon have resulted in over 450 deaths, including Hezbollah members and civilians, while Israel has suffered 34 fatalities, comprising soldiers and civilians.
