In a landmark moment for Tripura, the 'Aamar Sarkar' web portal, introduced by Chief Minister Manik Saha, has been acknowledged as one of the top five initiatives among participating states at the Chief Ministers' Conclave. The conclave was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Saturday, July 27.

The event was attended by over 20 Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers from BJP-ruled states. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other attendees praised the 'Aamar Sarkar' initiative for its effective promotion of good governance. The program is likely to be adopted in other states as a model of best practice.

Launched in November 2022, 'Aamar Sarkar' is an innovative platform aimed at addressing public grievances, particularly those of rural residents. It allows users to file complaints online or through a mobile app, upload geo-referenced photos, and track the status of their complaints. The system is designed to ensure complaints are addressed within four days, with unresolved issues escalated to senior officers.

Post-resolution, complaints are verified and certified by the departmental head before closure. Weekly 'Village Walks' and 'Aamar Sarkar Day' events aid in identifying community issues. According to the Rural Development (Panchayat) Department, 52,992 issues were raised over the past 21 months, with a resolution rate of 95%. (ANI)
