Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Monday launched a scathing attack on the BRS for approaching the court to challenge the inquiry panel established to investigate alleged irregularities in the power sector during the previous administration.

In a heated session in the state legislative assembly, Reddy accused the BRS leaders of fearing exposure of their purported 'loot' and claimed that their decision to go to court showed a lack of transparency.

Reddy highlighted that the court rejected the BRS leaders' argument and directed the continuation of the inquiry. The Supreme Court also supported this, paving the way for the appointment of a new head to the commission by Monday evening.
