Rajasthan Assembly Passes Comprehensive State Budget

The Rajasthan legislative assembly passed the state budget, which includes a Rs 2 crore concessional loan for youth to set up industries, LPG cylinders at Rs 450 for NFSA beneficiaries, and relaxed eligibility norms for state services. The budget also focuses on infrastructure, women's support, and employment for Agniveers.

The Rajasthan legislative assembly passed the state budget on Monday with Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announcing a Rs 2 crore concessional rate loan for the youth to set up industries, and reservation for Agniveers in police, forest guards, and jail guards.

Additionally, the budget includes providing LPG cylinders at Rs 450 to all beneficiary families of the National Food Security Act (NFSA). Sharma also relaxed the eligibility norms to appear in the Common Entrance Test for state government services.

The budget approves buying 1,000 electric buses, Rs 750 crore for establishing the Rajasthan Institute of Medical Sciences, and a salary and pension hike for MLAs. The Chief Minister revealed plans to connect villages with over 10,000 residents to Atal Pragati Path and beautify Jaipur's Dravyavati river. He asserted that the state government fulfills its promises, unlike the previous Congress administration.
