In a scathing review, former Water Resources Minister Ambati Rambabu has blasted Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for his alleged inconsistencies and false claims regarding the comprehensive land survey initiated by the former YSRCP government. Rambabu highlighted that the land survey was crucial for addressing long-standing land disputes and ensuring rightful ownership for citizens.

Addressing the media on Tuesday, Rambabu remarked, "It has been almost 50 days since Chandrababu Naidu formed the new government, yet he continues to disseminate blatant lies." He pointed out that prior to elections, Naidu labeled the land resurvey as dangerous and harmful to farmers, only to later announce its continuation after initially halting it.

Rambabu further criticized Naidu for failing to recognize the necessity of the survey. He elaborated that former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had launched a revolutionary program to resolve ownership disputes, which was met with opposition from Naidu and TDP leaders. Rambabu revealed that the previous government had employed over 14,000 surveyors to cover millions of properties, with two of the three phases already completed.

He slammed Naidu's administration for annulling the Land Titling Act, a central government initiative based on NITI Aayog's recommendations that could have resolved many disputes. Rambabu added that Naidu has a history of making unfulfilled promises, such as renaming 'Amma Vodi' to 'Talliki Vandanam,' promising free gas cylinders and bus travel for women, and unemployment benefits.

Addressing media rumours, Rambabu clarified that there is no number two in the YSR Congress Party, asserting that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy remains the sole leader. He affirmed the party's strength and capability to overcome any conspiracies or legal challenges.
