Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi Arrive in Wayanad for Landslide Relief Efforts
Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra arrived in Kerala to visit landslide-affected areas in Wayanad. Having won the Wayanad LS seat in 2019, Rahul has since vacated the seat for Priyanka. They plan to visit multiple relief camps and health centers in the impacted regions.

Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra landed in Kerala on Thursday to inspect landslide-affected regions and relief camps in Wayanad district, as confirmed by party sources.
Rahul, who won the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in 2019 and retained it this year, has since vacated the seat after also winning in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, paving the way for Priyanka to contest the forthcoming by-election.
Arriving at Kannur airport at 9.30 am and traveling by road to Wayanad, their visit includes stops at the Chooralmala landslide site, a Community Health Centre, Dr Moopen's Medical College, and several relief camps in Meppadi, aiming to assess and assist ongoing relief operations following devastating landslides that claimed 173 lives.
