India and Vietnam Forge New Strategic Action Plan
India and Vietnam have solidified a new action plan to expand their strategic ties. Prime Ministers Narendra Modi and Pham Minh Chinh discussed cooperation in the Indo-Pacific, maritime security, counter-terrorism, and cyber security, culminating in the agreement of a USD 300 million credit line for Vietnam.

Following comprehensive talks with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Modi announced a USD 300 million credit line to bolster Vietnam's maritime security. Chinh's three-day visit to Delhi underscores the countries' commitment to expanding their comprehensive strategic relations.
The leaders' discussions covered areas such as counter-terrorism, cyber security, and maritime cooperation, reflecting a decade of deepening bilateral ties. Vietnam remains a crucial partner in India's Act East Policy and Indo-Pacific vision.
