The BJP-JDS 10-day Padyatra commenced from Bengaluru on Saturday, with BJP leaders launching severe attacks on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for his alleged role in the MUDA scam. Bengaluru South BJP MP Tejasvi Surya was among the leading voices, asserting that Siddaramaiah and his family have no place to hide from the allegations.

Surya demanded Siddaramaiah's resignation to facilitate the formation of a more transparent and competent government in Karnataka. He criticized the current administration, calling it a 'lame-duck government' that lacks funds for development and is embroiled in corruption scandals. 'This Padyatra will mark the beginning of the end for the Congress government in Karnataka,' Surya stated.

BJP MLA CN Ashwathnarayan also condemned Siddaramaiah and his family for allegedly benefiting from the MUDA and Valmiki Corporation scams, accusing them of misusing power for personal gain. Captain Brijesh Chowta, another BJP MP, echoed these sentiments and predicted Siddaramaiah's resignation is imminent amid pressure from within the Congress party.
