Senior BJP leader and former deputy prime minister L K Advani, aged 96, was admitted to Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in Delhi for routine follow-up tests. His condition is stable, and he is expected to be discharged soon. He was previously hospitalized in early July for similar reasons.

Senior BJP leader and former deputy prime minister L K Advani was admitted to Delhi's Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals for routine follow-up tests and investigations on Tuesday.

Hospital sources confirmed that the 96-year-old's medical condition is stable. Apollo hospital issued a statement noting Advani is under the care of Dr. Vinit Suri and is expected to be discharged soon.

This is not the first instance of hospitalization for Advani; he was brought to the same facility in early July and previously admitted to AIIMS for observation earlier in the year.
