Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday honored the late Mahant Paramhans Ramchandra Das Maharaj at his site in Ayodhya, lauding the saint's unparalleled contributions to Sanatan Dharma and the construction of the Ram Mandir. The CM shared his tribute on social media platform X, emphasizing the saint's lasting impact on the community.
Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts in the construction of the Ram Mandir, Adityanath remarked that the 500-year wait had ended, granting Ram Lalla his rightful place in Ayodhya. He noted that the project's success has given Ayodhya a new identity and showcased the power of India's judiciary to the world.
Earlier in the day, the CM also extended best wishes on National Handloom Day, celebrating the state's rich tradition in the handloom industry. He encouraged the adoption of the 'Vocal for Local' mantra to elevate local craftsmanship to a global platform.
