Trump Confuses Former San Francisco Mayor with California Governor in Helicopter Tale

During a press conference, Donald Trump confused former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown with former California Governor Jerry Brown, recounting a supposed helicopter near-crash with Willie Brown. Both Browns and other sources have denied the event and Trump's claims, sparking controversy and skepticism.

In a recent press conference, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump mistakenly identified former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown as former California Governor Jerry Brown while recounting a dramatic helicopter incident.

Trump narrated a harrowing experience, suggesting he nearly crashed in a helicopter with Willie Brown decades ago. However, Willie Brown, a prominent Democratic figure, denied ever being in a helicopter with Trump, refuting the claims about conversations regarding Kamala Harris.

The mix-up extends to another flight—Trump’s tour of fire-stricken California in 2018 with then-Governor Jerry Brown, where no emergency landing occurred. Critics, including current Governor Gavin Newsom, have dismissed Trump’s story as fabricated.
