Trump Confuses Former California Politicians in Helicopter Tale

Donald Trump confused former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown with ex-Governor Jerry Brown while sharing a story of nearly dying in a helicopter crash. Despite Trump's recollections, Brown has denied ever being in a helicopter with Trump. The error has sparked reactions from various political figures.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump appeared to confuse former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown with ex-California Governor Jerry Brown during a press conference on Thursday. Trump told a dramatic story of almost dying in a helicopter crash, supposedly with Willie Brown.

Trump recalled an emergency landing and claimed Brown was also concerned for their lives. He further alleged Brown had told him negative things about Kamala Harris.

However, Brown refuted Trump's account, stating he had never shared a helicopter with Trump nor made derogatory comments about Harris. Trump's mix-up of names and the fabricated tale has drawn scrutiny from political circles.
