U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris took her campaign trail to Arizona on Friday, aiming to bolster her less-than-month-old White House bid against Republican contender Donald Trump.

Harris, alongside her running mate Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, is on a seven-state tour to generate enthusiasm ahead of the November 5 election. Her visit to Phoenix included meeting campaign volunteers and engaging with voters.

During her tour, Harris secured the endorsement of LULAC Adelante, the political action wing of the country's oldest Latino civil rights organization. It marks the group's inaugural presidential endorsement. Meanwhile, Trump held a rally in Bozeman, Montana, a traditionally Republican state with a competitive Senate race this year, despite his plane being diverted due to mechanical issues.

"I just landed in a really beautiful place: Montana. It's so picturesque," Trump said in a video posted to Truth Social. "I'm here for fundraisers and mainly to support U.S. Senate candidate Tim Sheehy. Our rally will be amazing, and it'll be a lot of fun."

Sheehy is set to challenge Democratic Senator John Tester, who is vying for his fourth term. Democrats are keen to win Western states like Nevada and Arizona, which Biden narrowly won in 2020 and have significant Latino populations. Polls indicate tight races in both states.

Harris is scheduled to continue her campaign in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday.
