Maratha Reservation Movement: Activist Manoj Jarange's Rally Highlights

Activist Manoj Jarange has escalated efforts to secure reservation for the Maratha community under the OBC category. Addressing a peace rally, he urged unity within the community, criticized governmental inaction, and ruled out political influence. Jarange also hinted at possible election participation and criticized OBC leader Chhagan Bhujbal for opposition.

In a recent rally, activist Manoj Jarange emphasized the necessity of securing reservation for the Maratha community under the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category. He called for unity among Marathas, urging them to prioritize their children's future over political affiliations.

Jarange expressed frustration over the lack of progress since his meeting with minister Shambhuraj Desai two months ago, suggesting governmental reluctance to grant the requested reservations. He noted the failed attempt to secure reservation under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category due to judicial scrutiny.

He directed his ire at OBC leader Chhagan Bhujbal for opposing Maratha reservation and contemplated the community's involvement in the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections. Jarange also warned Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis against targeting him, criticizing the formation of a Special Investigation Team.
