Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia extended birthday wishes to jailed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and highlighted his ongoing fight against what he described as the country's political dictatorship.

The Aam Aadmi Party has planned a series of events to mark Kejriwal's birthday, emphasizing his significance as a patriotic and revolutionary leader.

In a post on 'X', Sisodia said, 'Happy birthday to the chief minister of Delhi, my dear friend and political guru Arvind Kejriwal ji, who fought the toughest battle against the dictatorship going on in the country. We are proud to be soldiers of a patriotic and revolutionary leader who chose to go to jail rather than kneel before a dictator.'

Meanwhile, Delhi minister Atishi praised Kejriwal as a 'revolutionary of modern India' and expressed confidence that he will soon be released from jail. Kejriwal, arrested by the ED on March 21 in a money laundering case linked to the alleged excise policy scam, continues to be held despite being granted interim bail by the Supreme Court, as the CBI had also arrested him in a related matter.
