Punjab CM Mann Hails Sisodia's Bail Victory as Justice Against Dictatorship

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann met AAP leader Manish Sisodia, celebrating his release on bail from a year-and-a-half-long incarceration. Mann praised Sisodia for overcoming 'dictatorship' and emphasized the unity and resilience of AAP despite political adversity. He also expressed optimism for AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal's release.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann met senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia on Friday, celebrating his release on bail, asserting that Sisodia had secured justice by 'breaking the shackles of dictatorship'.

This marked Mann's first meeting with Sisodia since the latter's release by the Supreme Court last week, following his arrest in the excise policy case on February 26 last year.

Lauding Sisodia as a revolutionary figure in education, Mann remarked, 'Today I met the leader who brought an education revolution and emerged victorious against dictatorship. The court's decision reflects justice.'

He expressed hopes for Sisodia’s swift recovery and future contributions to children’s education. Additionally, Mann mentioned his meeting with Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, on the latter's birthday, expressing hope for Kejriwal's release amid ongoing legal challenges.

Alleging baseless investigations against AAP leaders, Mann insisted the party would emerge stronger, undeterred by political pressures. He affirmed, 'AAP is the country's future.'
