Subramanian Swamy Seeks Cancellation of Rahul Gandhi's Citizenship
BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has approached the Delhi High Court, requesting the Ministry of Home Affairs to decide on his plea for canceling Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Indian citizenship. Swamy claims Gandhi violated constitutional provisions by declaring British nationality. The petition is expected to be heard next week.

BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has moved the Delhi High Court to expedite the Ministry of Home Affairs' decision on his representation to revoke Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Indian citizenship.
Swamy's plea, filed by advocate Satya Sabharwal, alleges that Gandhi disclosed British nationality, violating the Constitution and the Indian Citizenship Act.
The petition, which is scheduled for a hearing next week, also requests a status report on Swamy's representations to the ministry, citing no action or communication from the ministry so far.
