Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has expressed hope that aspiring teachers demanding reservation will receive justice following the Allahabad High Court's cancellation of the results for 69,000 assistant teacher recruitments in Uttar Pradesh. The court ordered the issuance of fresh results, ensuring compliance with the Reservation Rules of 1981 and 1994.

Yadav highlighted the prolonged struggle faced by the aspirants, emphasizing their need for justice. "I hope that there will be no injustice done to those demanding reservation. They have fought a long battle, and I trust that justice will finally prevail," he said. The recruitment process was cancelled due to a failure to adhere to reservation guidelines.

Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav welcomed the High Court's decision but criticized the ruling party for its previous actions. "We should not forget the torment the ruling party has inflicted. However, we are optimistic about the court's directive," she told ANI. The issue has sparked significant political discourse, with many calling for an end to the perceived injustices in the recruitment process.
