Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday alleged that corruption flourished under previous Congress governments, accusing the party of being 'known to work for commissions.'
Taking aim at Congress's 'Haryana Maange Hisab' campaign, Saini accused the party of land grabbing and questioned their development record. 'When the opposition has no issue to raise, they initiate a 'hisab yatra.' Hooda sahab, we give account to the people regularly,' he asserted, intensifying his criticism of Congress following the announcement of the Haryana assembly polls.
Saini mentioned that Congress's state unit is rife with infighting and that the BJP government in Haryana is working in a 'mission mode' to achieve equitable development. He contrasted this with the alleged corruption during Congress's tenure and emphasized the BJP's achievements, including a proposed Rs 7,000-crore thermal power plant. Highlighting his confidence in BJP's victory, Saini said, 'On October 4, BJP will form the government for the third time with a big mandate.'
