Abhishek Manu Singhvi Files Nomination for Rajya Sabha from Telangana

Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi filed his nomination for Rajya Sabha from Telangana. Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy expressed optimism about the benefits Singhvi's representation will bring to the state. Singhvi's nomination is crucial following the resignation of former BRS MP K Keshava Rao.

Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi has officially filed his nomination for the Rajya Sabha seat from Telangana, heralding a significant political move. State Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy expressed confidence in Singhvi's ability to bring substantial benefits to the region.

During the nomination filing on Monday, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, along with other key political figures including Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and AICC incharge for Telangana Deepa Dasmunsi, were present to show their support.

This move comes after the Congress nominated Singhvi on August 14, with Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal confirming the approval by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. This bypoll is necessitated by the resignation of former BRS MP K Keshava Rao, who recently joined Congress.
