Inside Future Forward's Cautionary Polls on Kamala Harris' Presidential Bid

Chauncey McLean, the president of Future Forward, the primary super PAC supporting Kamala Harris' presidential campaign, expressed concerns about their internal polling data, which he says is less optimistic than public polls. McLean suggested Democrats face much closer contests in pivotal states.

Speaking during an event linked to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, McLean highlighted that Future Forward's figures are less favorable than public perceptions. While public polling shows Harris leading against Donald Trump, McLean warns of tougher battles ahead in key states.

Future Forward, which has a $250 million budget for a comprehensive advertising blitz from Labor Day to Election Day, aims to boost Harris' candidacy in battleground states. McLean acknowledges the critical importance of young voters of color and the need for Harris to present more concrete policy positions to distinguish herself from Joe Biden and gain voter confidence.
