Jammu and Kashmir Officials Trained for Election Transparency

Jammu and Kashmir's election department conducted an online training session on election expenditure monitoring for nearly 800 officers on Saturday, according to an official statement.
The session was inaugurated by Chief Electoral Officer Pandurang K. Pole and was attended by district nodal officers, assembly constituency nodal officers, and 22 enforcement agencies. In-charge officers of flying squads, surveillance teams, and video monitoring units also participated.
CEO Pole emphasized the importance of zeal and dedication to ensure transparency in the upcoming three-phase assembly elections beginning September 18. Post-training, Pole reviewed overall polling station preparations and directed officers to submit action-taken reports with geo-tagged photos within a week. The state has 11,838 polling stations, with an average of 735 voters per station.
