PDP Youth President Waheed Para Advocates for Kashmir's Dignity Amidst Assembly Elections

PDP youth leader Waheed Para, vying for the Pulwama assembly seat in Jammu and Kashmir, views the upcoming elections as a chance for the people to reclaim their space and dignity after the abrogation of Article 370. Para, who is free on bail after 18 months of incarceration, reiterated his commitment to the identity and dignity of Kashmiris.

PDP youth president Waheed Para on Tuesday emphasized the significance of the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections as an opportunity for the people to reclaim their rightful space, lost after the abrogation of Article 370.

Filing his nomination for Pulwama assembly segment, Para stressed on the restoration of dignity and identity for Kashmiris. He highlighted that the elections serve as a moment to fight against the prevailing injustices and fear in the region.

Para dismissed questions about the impact of the National Conference and Congress alliance on PDP's prospects, stating that his focus remains on communicating the party's message to the people, as initiated by PDP founder Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
