PDP youth president Waheed Para on Tuesday emphasized the significance of the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections as an opportunity for the people to reclaim their rightful space, lost after the abrogation of Article 370.
Filing his nomination for Pulwama assembly segment, Para stressed on the restoration of dignity and identity for Kashmiris. He highlighted that the elections serve as a moment to fight against the prevailing injustices and fear in the region.
Para dismissed questions about the impact of the National Conference and Congress alliance on PDP's prospects, stating that his focus remains on communicating the party's message to the people, as initiated by PDP founder Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
