Robert Vadra, husband of Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, strongly condemned BJP MP Kangana Ranaut for her controversial remarks on the farmers' protests. Vadra, speaking to reporters on Friday, stated that Ranaut does not deserve a seat in Parliament, questioning her education and concern for the common people.
Vadra highlighted the importance of women's safety, urging all political parties to unite on this pressing issue. He mentioned that Ranaut should focus more on women's safety and the people's welfare rather than self-interest.
Ranaut, who represents the Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh, had claimed in an interview that India's strong leadership prevented a 'Bangladesh-like situation' during the farmers' protests, alluding to incidents of violence. She also accused China and the US of conspiring during the agitation, drawing sharp criticism from opposition parties.
Visiting places of worship and meeting various community members, including differently-abled children, Vadra's remarks have sparked a significant political debate.
