As the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) kickstarts their 'Yatra' today, Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary launched a scathing attack on Lalu Yadav's family, demanding they disclose their past misdeeds. 'Whatever yatra the family of Lalu Yadav takes out, first they should tell the public about the sins they have committed,' he stated.
Former Deputy CM and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, who announced his state tour focusing on engaging with party workers, remains undeterred. 'The current yatra will focus on dialogue with party workers,' he emphasized, further elaborating plans to meet the public of Bihar later in the year.
However, political strategist Prashant Kishor has challenged Yadav to connect with his constituents on foot, accusing him of relying on convoys and staged photo opportunities. Kishor termed Yadav's promises of government jobs as misleading.
Amidst the tour, political tensions have escalated with a surge in crime. Following the murder of BJP leader Munna Sharma, Tejashwi Yadav criticized the state government for failing to curb criminal activities. Yadav accused Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of being 'busy' and 'exhausted,' suggesting an inability to govern effectively.
