Congress Releases Fourth List of Candidates for Haryana Assembly Polls
The Congress party has released its fourth list of candidates for the Haryana assembly elections, including a recently joined journalist and several youth leaders. The Congress party on Thursday unveiled its fourth list of candidates for the upcoming Haryana assembly polls, adding five names to its roster. Notably, this list features a journalist who recently joined the party, raising the total number of declared candidates to 86.
Among the new entrants are Parimal Pari from Ambala Cantt, youth leader Sachin Kundu from Panipat Rural, Satbir Dublain from the Narwana (SC) seat, and Rohit Nagar from Tigaon. Aditya Surjewala, son of party MP Randeep Surjewala, has been fielded from Kaithal. The party has yet to declare candidates for four seats, including Uklana.
Former journalist Sarva Mitra Kamboj, who joined Congress in the presence of former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and state party chief Udai Bhan, will contest from Rania. This seat was previously held by Energy and Jails Minister Ranjit Chautala, who quit BJP after being denied a ticket.
