Kamala Harris and Oprah Winfrey Unite for Virtual Rally

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris will team up with Oprah Winfrey for a livestream event aimed at rallying support in key battleground states for the Nov. 5 presidential election. The event, 'Unite for America,' will involve over 140 grassroots groups and will stream across multiple online platforms.

In a bid to boost voter turnout in key battleground states, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris will join forces with Oprah Winfrey for a livestream event next week, her campaign announced.

The 'Unite for America' event, scheduled for Thursday, will see participation from over 140 grassroots organizations, in collaboration with the Win With Black Women volunteer network.

'What is essential to me is getting people motivated to vote - and that's my intention in hosting this event,' Winfrey stated, adding that the event will stream across major online platforms.
