Former deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala on Tuesday outlined a series of ambitious promises should the JJP-ASP alliance win the October 5 polls in Haryana. Chief among them is the construction of 'Ambedkar hostels' in every subdivision for underprivileged students, providing free accommodation.
Chautala also assured voters that a JJP-ASP government would establish permanent irrigation channels for every farm, tackle Mewat's salinity issue through specialized water channels, and develop a 2,000-acre industrial hub near the Delhi-Mumbai expressway to boost employment.
Moreover, plans include building an international-level stadium to promote Olympic sports and setting up gym facilities in villages. Chautala took the opportunity to criticize the Congress government's past decade, claiming it drove businesses away from Haryana, unlike the JJP-BJP partnership which he said prioritized industrial growth between 2019 and 2024.
