Kumaraswamy Critiques CM Siddaramaiah's Wife's Plot Surrender as 'A Joke'

He accused Siddaramaiah of deeper irregularities beyond the MUDA scandal and questioned the timing of her decision.

Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy criticized Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's wife's decision to surrender 14 plots to the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA), describing it as a 'joke' and a political excuse of 'I stole and then regretted.'

During a media interaction in New Delhi, Kumaraswamy expressed his respect for Siddaramaiah's wife while questioning the timing and implications of her decision, noting that she wrote the letter on Monday night expressing her intention to return the plots.

He accused Siddaramaiah of political U-turns and hinted at deeper irregularities within the Chief Minister's administration, stating there's no affection for properties in the letter and calling it a facade. Kumaraswamy alleged that Siddaramaiah and Congress label him a liar, yet if you listen to them, it becomes evident where the deceit originates.

Kumaraswamy further claimed that beyond the MUDA scandal, Siddaramaiah has committed numerous irregularities, referring to an old land scam where land was sold to clear election loans and questioning the origin of the land. He urged the public to be aware of these issues and called for thorough investigations, questioning the actions of Revenue Minister Krishna Byregowda.
