Jaishankar expressed his pleasure in meeting Sugiono, congratulating him on his recent cabinet appointment. The two focused on strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and Indonesia, according to Jaishankar's post on social media platform X.
Sugiono joins the ranks of Indonesia's senior leaders after being inducted into the Red and White Cabinet by Prabowo Subianto, who was inaugurated as the country's 8th president on October 20.
