BJP leader Tarun Chugh has criticized Punjab's Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann, accusing him of politicizing paddy procurement. According to Chugh, this move aims to divert attention from the perceived failures of Mann's AAP government in the state.
While campaigning for Manpreet Singh Badal, the BJP candidate from Gidderbaha, Chugh assured supporters of BJP's strength in the impending state assembly bypolls. He emphasized that only the BJP can deliver on the promises made to the people of Punjab, unlike the AAP which he accused of political maneuvering.
Despite the Central government providing Rs 41,000 crore to Punjab, Chugh claimed the AAP government delayed paddy purchases, adding unnecessary strain on farmers. He warned that voters would respond appropriately in the bypolls on November 20, a stance that reflects public discontent with the AAP's governance.
