In a pivotal meeting, Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov engaged in meaningful discussions with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The dialogue focused on heightened cooperation across key areas, including trade, economic relations, energy, and connectivity, with an aim to solidify the India-Russia Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership.
Prime Minister Modi commended the continuous and collaborative efforts being executed by teams from both nations to implement decisions made during his recent interactions with Russian President Vladimir Putin. These engagements underscore a shared commitment to bolstering bilateral relations between the two nations, according to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office.
Emphasizing the importance of ongoing diplomatic exchanges, Modi conveyed greetings to President Putin. Additionally, Manturov, along with India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, will co-chair a critical session of the intergovernmental commission focusing on trade, economic, scientific, technical, and cultural cooperation during his upcoming visit to India.
