Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has launched a fierce attack on Aam Aadmi Party national convener and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over his allegations concerning Rohingya settlements. Puri insists that Kejriwal, by repeatedly voicing support for the Rohingyas, is potentially compromising India's security landscape.
In a robust critique, Puri denounced these claims as fabrications, stating, 'Just because a lie is spread again and again, it won't become truth'. He vehemently denied any provision of flats to the Rohingya community and accused AAP representatives of extending benefits like free ration, water, and electricity to them.
Puri further alleged that Kejriwal's government facilitated voter ID cards for Rohingyas to garner electoral support. Meanwhile, Kejriwal has challenged Puri and Home Minister Amit Shah to expose data regarding alleged settlements. Puri has dismissed suggestions that Rohingya votes are influenced in favor of the BJP.
