Renowned activist Anna Hazare has voiced his concerns about AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, stating that Kejriwal initially performed admirably as Delhi's Chief Minister before encountering public disapproval for his decision to open liquor vends.

Kejriwal's downfall coincided with the rise of Rekha Gupta, whose election as the new chief minister of the national capital is seen as a victory for her "pure thoughts and deeds." Hazare emphasized the pride associated with Gupta’s appointment.

Kejriwal's tenure faced criticism following allegations of irregularities in modifying the Delhi excise policy. The excise policy, which reportedly favored certain license holders, was eventually scrapped after investigations were initiated by the Central Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement Directorate.
