Delhi's political landscape is set for a shake-up as BJP leader and minister Parvesh Verma declared that the much-anticipated Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report would expose the alleged corruption of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government. Verma emphasized the report's role in revealing AAP's financial misdeeds.
Verma accused the AAP of exploiting Delhi's taxpayers and promised that the report would provide comprehensive insight into the extent of the alleged misuse of funds. Echoing his sentiment, BJP Minister Ashish Sood assured the public that those responsible would be held accountable and forced to return the pilfered funds.
The revelations, slated to be presented during the eighth legislative assembly session under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta's leadership, include 14 CAG reports shedding light on AAP's financial practices. BJP officials, including MLA Ravinder Singh Negi and party chief Virendraa Sachdeva, reiterated their commitment to pursuing justice, stressing that many AAP ministers could face legal consequences.
