CAG Report Set to Expose Alleged Corruption by AAP Government in Delhi

Ahead of the CAG report's presentation in the Delhi Assembly, BJP MLAs accused the Aam Aadmi Party of financial mismanagement and corruption. The BJP claims the report will reveal misdeeds from the past decade of AAP's governance and be used as evidence for potential legal action against its leaders.

The Delhi Assembly is bracing for the tabled presentation of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report today, drawing significant political attention as BJP MLAs vocally critique the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government. The report is anticipated to highlight large-scale allegations of financial mismanagement and corruption during AAP's administration.

BJP MLA Mohan Singh Bisht has been particularly critical, alleging that Delhi's budget was misused under AAP's governance and emphasizing that the CAG report will provide hard evidence of purported misdeeds spanning over the last 10 to 12 years.

Ravinder Singh Negi, another BJP MLA, echoed this sentiment, asserting that legal action may follow the report, potentially implicating numerous AAP ministers. The CAG's findings, they claim, were concealed for years by Arvind Kejriwal's government but are now positioned to be unearthed, laying bare what they describe as a decade of financial impropriety.

Delhi BJP President Virendraa Sachdeva maintains that the report will substantiate allegations of systemic corruption linked to the AAP, fulfilling electoral promises for transparency. The newly established BJP government, driven by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, underscores the political gravity of presenting 14 CAG reports, framing a narrative of reclaiming integrity in governance.
