In a highly charged session at the Delhi Assembly, tension reached a boiling point when Speaker Vijender Gupta suspended 12 AAP MLAs, including the Opposition Leader Atishi and MLA Gopal Rai. The suspension occurred amid uproar before the tabling of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report.

The discord started as soon as the Lieutenant Governor began his address. AAP MLAs immediately responded by raising slogans, turning the assembly into chaos. Chants of "Jai Bhim" filled the house before members were removed and took their protests outside, targeting the state government with slogans and posters of Babasaheb Ambedkar.

The reports, prepared for the second day of the eighth legislative assembly, are anticipated to unveil financial discrepancies during the AAP's tenure. BJP officials, including Delhi Chief Virendra Sachdeva, claim the CAG report will bring AAP's alleged corrupt activities to light, a promise made during elections.

The drama continued with statements from BJP leaders like Parvesh Verma and Manjinder Singh Sirsa, asserting that the report will expose the extent of the Aam Aadmi Party's malpractice. Verma charged that Delhi's people and taxpayers had been exploited, and Sirsa accused the AAP of concealing the report for three years to hide scams.
