Iran Open to Talks on Nuclear Militarization Concerns
Iran has expressed openness to discussions with the United States, focusing solely on the militarization of its nuclear program. This comes after rejecting broader talks on regional influence and missile restrictions. The country stresses its nuclear activities are peaceful, amid ongoing tensions with the US and Israel.

Iran announced on Sunday that it may engage in talks with the United States if discussions focus solely on the concerns of militarization within its nuclear program.
Iran's UN mission stated on platform X that such discussions could be considered, although Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei had previously rejected broader talks. He argued they would impose undue restrictions on Iran's missile developments and its influence in the Middle Eastern region.
Despite signals from President Donald Trump indicating a willingness to establish a new deal, Iran maintains that its nuclear ambitions remain peaceful even as the geopolitical climate remains tense, particularly with the restrictive US sanctions and the volatile situation involving Israel.
