Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar is on the path to recovery at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi, according to sources on Monday. The 73-year-old was admitted early Sunday morning after experiencing uneasiness and chest pain.
He is currently under the care of Dr. Rajiv Narang, head of cardiology at AIIMS, where a team of doctors is closely monitoring his condition. The Vice-President's progress is deemed satisfactory.
On Sunday afternoon, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited AIIMS to check on Dhankhar's health, voicing hopes for his swift recovery. Union Health Minister JP Nadda also made a visit to inquire about his well-being.
