Senior Trinamool Congress leader Saugata Roy was urgently hospitalized after falling ill in the Parliament complex on Monday. The veteran politician experienced discomfort following his participation in a Lok Sabha debate.
Roy was swiftly taken to Ram Manohar Lohia hospital in an ambulance, organized by the Parliament staff.
Dr. Manoj Jha from the hospital mentioned that Roy was admitted with back pain and sweating. A team of doctors is conducting various tests to determine his condition.
