Controversy Erupts Over JD(U) MLA's Viral Video Scandal

In Bihar, the opposition RJD has criticized the JD(U) after a controversial video surfaced featuring ruling party MLA Gopal Mandal. The video shows Mandal participating in inappropriate behavior with a female performer, which quickly went viral on social media.

Mandal, known for previous scandals, was recorded sticking currency notes on a dancer's cheek during an event in his constituency just before Holi. He also reportedly sang a song with explicit lyrics. PTI has not been able to independently verify the video's authenticity.

RJD officials, including MLAs Ranvijay Sahu and Mukesh Yadav, have condemned the behavior, demanding accountability from the JD(U) and its ally BJP, accusing them of lacking moral values. Meanwhile, the ruling NDA has largely remained silent on the incident.
