In a significant political victory, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won nine out of ten mayoral positions in the recent local body elections in Haryana, marking a strong endorsement of the ruling party's governance. An independent candidate secured the remaining seat in Manesar.
Responding to the victory, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini took aim at the Congress, attributing its defeat to what he described as faulty policies. Speaking amid the ongoing budget session where Congress MLAs walked out, Saini asserted the government's commitment to the state's development and criticized the opposition for their inability to resonate with public interests.
