In a fiery defense of Kunal Kamra, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut expressed unwavering support for the comedian under fire for his remarks on Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Raut asserted that Kamra, known for his bold commentary, would never bow to threats, questioning the source of these alleged intimidations.

Reflecting on Yogi Adityanath's remarks that freedom of speech shouldn't become a weapon for discord, Raut acknowledged the claim but questioned what Kamra specifically did wrong. "Kamra's work was satirical, not personal," Raut stated, criticizing the vandalism by Shiv Sena workers in retaliation.
